Milkyway over Høst Møn 2023
After the live music had ended at the summer’s last festival, Høst Møn 2023 – but while the DJ party was still sounding loudly behind the trees – I went out into the high grass next to the parking lot and shot this photograph if the Milky Way.
Although the mosquitoes had a feast, I enjoyed taking this night scape of the grassy field with the sun flowers and the Milky Way while still being entertained by the remote but clear House music in the DJ Tent 🙂
The best, I think, with this photograph is, that I was actually heading for my bed as I was more than ready to sleep after this second night of festival.
But the night was so clear – and being in one of Denmarks’ few officially certified Dark Sky Areas – I felt almost compelled – or at least drawn – to get my camera out and give the beautiful and clear night a shot!! ✨🔭📸😄
The photograph consists of 20 untracked 8 seconds shots of the sky (which was unfortunately not as sharp as desired) and 14 shots of 2 minutes of the ground (where I refocused).
All except 4 subframes were shot at ISO 6400 (4 of subframes of the ground were 60 seconds @ ISO 800, taken to test various possibilities – despite the darker settings, they were included in the final mix anyways).
Enjoy! 🌌
