The La Leisse chairlift on Grande Motte glacier in ski resort of Tignes with the peak of Tsanteleina mountain peak some 13 kms in the background.
This mountain marks the border between France (Savoie) and Italy (Aosta) although the peak (3601 m) is located in France.
The normal route to the summit is from the north which is also a popular for ski mountaineers ⛷
The north face is however not visible on this photograph as it’s taken from the WSW direction.
